2026 Ford Escape for Sale at Bob Moore Ford in OKC
Get it while you still can! The Ford Escape doesn’t have much longer on our lot, with 2026 slated to be the final year of production for the compact SUV. It’s a shame too, as the Escape continues to be an excellent choice for daily commuting, offering great fuel economy, a spacious cabin, and a comfy cabin. The Escape is offered with a gas or hybrid powertrain, both of which are likely to be discontinued after this production cycle. The Escape continues to be one of Ford’s most affordable SUVs, making it a popular choice for budget commuters. We’ll preview everything you need to know about the new Ford SUV, including powertrain options and horsepower, as well as technology and safety features. If you’d like to get in on the last iteration of the Ford Escape, visit Bob Moore Ford in Oklahoma City to get started today.

2026 Escape Fuel Efficiency and Performance
The Escape comes with your choice of powertrain. Base models are equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder that makes 181 horsepower, but if you want an ICE, we steer you towards the 2.0-liter four-cylinder, which produces 250 horsepower. It makes the Escape a more athletic commuter. While it still won’t win any awards at the track, it makes the SUV more engaging. Two hybrid powertrains are also offered, with the base model getting a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a pair of motors that make 192 horsepower. A plug-in hybrid (PHEV) option produces 210 horsepower using the same engine and a more powerful motor. The PHEV gets an electric range of 37 miles when fully charged, courtesy of an 11.2 kWh battery pack. The base hybrid gets 42 mpg city and 36 mpg highway. The most efficient gas models get 27 mpg city and 32 mpg highway.

New Ford Escape Trim Levels and Features
The compact Ford SUV is deceptively spacious, offering 37.5 cubic feet of cargo space in the rear and up to 65.4 cubic feet of total cargo space behind the first row. For its last hurrah, the Escape gets the following six trim levels:
| Trim Level: | MSRP: |
| 2026 Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid | $35,400 |
| 2026 Ford Escape Active | $30,350 |
| 2026 Ford Escape ST-Line | $31,195 |
| 2026 Ford Escape ST-Line Select | $35,015 |
| 2026 Ford Escape ST-Line Elite | $38,935 |
| 2026 Ford Escape Platinum | $37,940 |
If you’re looking for most of the creature comforts you want from an SUV, we’d probably start with the ST-Line Select, which adds a power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, and heated front row seats. While the Escapade isn’t trying to cosplay as a luxury vehicle, higher trim levels do add some noteworthy features, including larger display screens, standard AWD, and a more comprehensive driver assistance suite.
