The Blue Advantage Difference

Each Blue Advantage vehicle has gone through a multi-point inspection and comes with roadside assistance and warranty coverage. You even get FordPass Rewards Points with these vehicles. There are two levels for this program, known as the Gold Certified and Blue Certified vehicles.

Gold Certified Vehicles

To qualify as Gold, the vehicles can be no more than six years old and must have fewer than 80,000 miles. These models have undergone a 172-point inspection before being put on the lot for sale. You get up to 22,000 FordPass Rewards Points with a purchase of a Gold Certified vehicle. You’re also covered by an impressive warranty:

  • 12 months/12,000 miles Comprehensive Lifetime Warranty Coverage
  • 7 years/100,000 miles Powertrain Limited Warranty Coverage
  • 7 years 24/7 Roadside Assistance

In addition, you can receive a CARFAX vehicle history report to learn more about the vehicle you want to purchase. These models come with a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM.

Blue Certified Vehicles

To qualify as a Blue Certified vehicle, it must be less than 10 years old and have no more than 120,000 miles. The vehicle will also need to pass a 139-point inspection to receive this certification. If you purchase a Blue Certified vehicle, you can get up to 11,000 points. These vehicles come with 90 days of Roadside Assistance and a 90-day or 4,000-mile Comprehensive Limited Warranty. You can purchase more coverage when you buy the vehicle.
When you buy a Blue Certified vehicle, you get a CARFAX vehicle history report and a three-month trial subscription to SiriusXM.
